False Flags

False flags have their origins in naval warfare. Ships would display a flag not their own in order to fool the enemy and gain a strategic advantage. A modern day false flag is a staged event intended to swindle the public into supporting a military campaign or a governmental agenda.

Operation Northwoods was semi-recent example. It was proposed in 1962, but was rejected by the Kennedy administration. The plan called for the CIA to carry out acts of terrorism in the United States and place blame for the acts upon Cuba. The goal of this operation was to insight public support for a military invasion of Cuba. The plan was fortunately never put into action as JFK quickly shot it down.

Two years after that on August 2, 1964, the USS Maddox engaged three North Vietnamese torpedo boats which resulted in the deaths of 4 Vietnamese sailors and 6 more wounded. The Maddox sustained damage from a single machine gun bullet. Two days later, The Maddox picked up suspicious activity on radar and began to shell what they believed to be two more Vietnamese boats. The only problem was, these boats didn't exist. The crew of the Maddox reported no enemy casualties or damaged ships and contacted Washington reporting that weather or sonarman error was the cause. Despite this fact, President Lyndon Johnson made the decision to retaliate within thirty minutes of the first transmission. This event became known as the "Gulf of Tonkin" incident which led to the passage of the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution. This resolution allowed the United States to assist any "Southeast Asian country in danger of communist expansion".

In 2005, A historian for the National Security Agency revealed that the NSA deliberately skewed the facts to both policy-makers and the American public.

The two previous incidents are confirmed false flag operations. The following are theories.

On September 11th 2001, planes were intentionally flown into the North and South towers of the World Trade Center. They both collapsed along with WTC 7. The initial blame was placed on Al-Qaeda affiliated individuals. However, there has been much speculation of the legitimacy of the official 9/11 commission report. There is even a group known as Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth. They claim that it would have been impossible for the towers to fall at free-fall speed into themselves without a controlled detonation. They also claim that it must have been impossible from heat from jet fuel alone to melt the steel support beams. Jet fuel burns at a maximum of 1800F and the melting point of steel is 2500F.

But this article is not about the 9/11 conspiracy, it is about false flags. What possible motive could be behind this heinous crime. This event launched the war on terror; a war that is still not over. The United States began their almighty oil crusade within a month of the attacks. George W. Bush signed the Patriot Act into law which greatly increased the power of the federal government and decreased the privacy of both foreign and domestic citizens.

If you think it is impossible that the United States government would harm it's own citizens I advise you to scroll back up to the Operation Northwoods section. John F. Kennedy was the last righteous American president, and he surely paid the price.

Less than 2 years after 9/11 the Iraq War began on false pretenses. Support was gathered by telling the public Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction and that Saddam Hussein was harboring members of Al-Qaeda. Both of these allegations turned out to be false and yet again the masses were swindled into a war for natural resources.

How many times can we fall for the same trick? Wake up.
